Greetings! It is a privilege to serve as the president of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Kappa Omicron Omega Chapter. Established on October 4, 1975, our chapter proudly serves the communities of Polk County.
Through collaboration and partnerships, including our work with the Polk County Pearl Foundation, we have supported high school graduates by awarding scholarships such as the Mattie B. Streeter Scholarship. With over 70 dedicated members, we remain committed to our mission of "Service to all Mankind," volunteering at local nursing homes, schools, and health organizations.
We are happy to serve on an international level under the guidance of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed. Since 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ®
has been committed to change, education, and advocacy.
